As many of you know, we started taking the triplets camping last year. I grew up with camping being my family’s main type of vacation and some of my best, core memories were made on those trips. While camping is an absolute blast, it can also be a lot of work!

You may often hear “reveal/details coming soon!” on my Instagram stories whenever I show something in our house that’s a work in progress. You may also often find that “coming soon” typically means like 2 years later, such as our farm table and kitchen 😂

When Jay threw out the idea of doing Hobbits for Halloween, my entire list was scraped and I got straight to work digging for outfits and pieces to make these costumes epic.

One of the (many) reasons why I didn’t want to start a family until we were settled in our new house was due to the fact I knew our emotional and financial resources would be focused strictly on a baby.

With winter here in MA, getting outside with three toddlers presents new challenges in the form of clothing, gear, and our sanity.

The triplets were only about 4 months old for their very first Christmas, so not exactly an exciting age for Christmas magic, but we were also in the middle of packing in preparation for our move to the new house. We never even got a tree and it was the most depressing Christmas ever.

Our fall bucket list was a huge hit and we had such a blast filling up our weekends and days with activities. With winter here and Christmas around the corner, I couldn’t resist doing a winter bucket list.

Since we get a lot of similar questions, I thought doing a little FAQ for this “intro series” would be a great addition. So let’s get started!

Tuesday was a day of silence on my platform. Not because the very REAL issue surrounding racism should be silenced, but because it was time for me to reflect, listen, & figure out ways to move forward in solidarity.

After my post a few weeks ago talking about how we were diving into more solid foods, I unintentionally found myself meal prepping the babies’ dinners for the week.

Amongst all the other projects Jay has to do around our unfinished home, this swing set was added to his list a few weeks ago because we knew the warmer weather would be approaching.

Back at our 6 month checkup for the babies, our Pedi told us to start introducing them to sippy cups. Like every other new milestone that requires some sort of baby product, this usually has me up all night scouring Instagram or my Facebook groups for recommendations. ⁣

The triplets’ first Easter was kind of a bust with the pandemic going on - can you tell by how unenthusiastic they are?

I spent this morning writing a post about our semi-transition to straw sippy cups, opened Instagram to make the post, and saw that it was National Sibling Day. When you have triplets, this isn’t just something you can skip! ⁣

Many of those that follow me know I am a safe sleep “advocate,” if you will.

With good reason, my social media has been filled with anxiety, stress, and what sometimes feels like hopelessness during a time so unprecedented it almost doesn’t feel real.

Now that the babies are 8 months old (and 6.5 adjusted), I’m really buckling down on giving them more textured foods.
