A sleep sack we can wear year-round
Many of those that follow me know I am a safe sleep “advocate,” if you will.
In a sea of dock-a-tots and babies in beds that we often see on Instagram, I’ve always loved photographing or doing Instastories of my triplets sleeping to show that there’s beauty in safe sleep too!
With that, my babies go to bed and sometimes nap in sleep sacks, which they have been using since their newborn days instead of swaddles. Since they were tiny little things in the summer and grew up in winter, we have been getting away with using long sleeved fleece sleep sacks with not a thing on underneath at night. It made those night time diaper changes so much less disruptive and saved a lot on laundry as well.
With the warmer months slowly approaching, however, I don’t think we can get away with this for much longer. This prompted a hunt for a sleep sack that would be warm enough to MAYBE get away with nothing on underneath, or at the very least still be light enough to put a long sleeved onesie on under it where they won’t overheat.
Enter @kytebaby 1.0 TOG sleep sack! Guys - these are the BEST quality sleep sacks I have ever seen or touched in my life. Made with bamboo, it’s soft to the touch and almost feels like quilt-like construction with the way it is stitched and layered. It features a J-shaped zipper that opens from both the top and the bottom to make getting inside super easy, especially when a sleeping baby is involved.
Since we still have our heat on here in MA, we’ve been using them over the babies’ regular clothes during nap time. No one has been too hot, and the sacks allow for plenty of movement when my two belly sleepers inevitably roll over.
I have yet to give them a wash, but I’ll be sure to provide an update on Instastories once I do.
The best part about this post though? Kyte Baby is allowing me to do a giveaway of $100 to their store to all of my followers! Keep an eye out on my feed because the next time you see my babies in these sleep sacks, I’ll be doing the giveaway :)
