The many faces of - five months

The many faces of Forrest, Marin, & Wilder at five months old.

Forrest 🌲

This sweet, sensitive boy is always so happy. He’s started to laugh at almost anything, which in turn makes all of us laugh (including his siblings). He’s started to develop a bit more of that “stranger danger” and definitely doesn’t like people/situations he’s unsure about at first, but we are hoping it’s just a phase!⁣

He, too, is obsessed with his feet and loves chewing on anything he can put in his mouth (he’s definitely teething too). Out of all 3 babies, he is still the least interested in solids and I fear he’s going to develop the diet of his father, which consists of like 3 things. So far, he’s sticking to plain old oatmeal and sweet potatoes, unsure of much else. ⁣⁣

Marin June 🌻

Our serious baby, this little girl will take one look at you and stare into your soul. She studies you, making sure you’re someone she likes before gracing you with her smile. She’s very inquisitive, and a girl that knows what she wants (like her mama). I’m still banking on her bossing these boys around. ⁣

Like her brother, her new thing is blowing all the bubbles! She doesn’t talk as much as she used to, but has definitely replaced it with the new sound of fart noises. She can pull the paci out of her mouth and get it back in now too, but every so often she gets posted about it and requires assistance. She continues to be our calmest, easiest baby and we are so thankful for this personality of hers 😂⁣

Wilder 🍂

This baby has the most extroverted personality that his dad and I often wonder where he came from. Anyone that comes to the house and pays any sort of attention to him is his new best friend (even the Comcast guy 😂). He non-stops hams it up for anyone that looks at him and he’s a major flirt. I’m definitely seeing class clown in his future. ⁣

His new favorite things are sticking his tongue out (clearly)⁣ and his feet! He’s loved every type of solid food we have given him and is just happy to eat. He’s also a very busy baby, constantly flailing all of his limbs now because he wants to be on the move!⁣
